A native of Central New York, Mr. Oastler has significant experience defending individuals in Watertown and throughout upstate New York against DWI charges. He regularly handles clients in Jefferson, Oswego, Onondaga, Lewis, Saint Lawrence, and Cayuga counties. Before working for Xavier + Associates (formerly Anelli Xavier), Mr. Oastler interned at Prisoner’s Legal Services of New York where he helped respond to the complaints of incarcerated individuals. This initially piqued his interest in representing those who were up against the resources and power of New York State. He has practiced at several other firms across upstate New York and the Hudson Valley and diversified his understanding of many areas of law and the needs of a wide variety of clients. Attorney Oastler obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Colgate University. He afterward obtained his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School.
While attending Albany Law School, Attorney Oastler spent a full year working at Albany Law School’s prestigious Health Law Clinic where he first gained experience with clients and the courtroom. He also received a Founder’s Scholarship while attending Albany Law School and was a member of the Government Law Journal.
